We are also experienced with all new multifocal lens implants including Restor, crystalens, ReZOOM and the latest no stitch cataract surgery and lens implant techniques. Hoopes Vision was the first LASIK center in the Salt Lake Valley to offer safer, more accurate IntraLASIK technology. IntraLase replaces the metal blade normally used in LASIK, creating a safer blade-free LASIK procedure. Hoopes Vision was also the first Utah LASIK center to provide wavefront optimized LASIK procedures. In the past, night-time halos and glare have been a common concern for patients considering LASIK. Newer wavefront optimized treatments are designed to maintain the natural prolate shape of the cornea rather than flattening it. This newer technology has allowed us to improve patient's night time vision results, have lowered the chance of needing an enhancement after surgery and have increased the likelihood of patients achieving 20/20 vision or better.
